Here's another nature inspired project to complete for yourself or with your kids. Don't worry about the materials, measuring, or cutting. Just grab your screw driver and put these pre-cut pine pieces together. Some additional items have been added to get you started filling up the chalet, but you will need to go outside to collect more sticks, stones, and leaves, depending on the insects you would like to attract. Part of the fun will be researching the many bugs around you!
In addition, you can choose to paint with non-toxic acrylic paint and add a safe finish for waterproofing (just make sure to avoid painting the inside).
Includes:
All pre-cut and drilled pine pieces (marked so you can line them up).
15 mason bee tubes, all screws, and two ring hangers if you would like to hang it up.
A scrap block of wood, pre-drilled with various size holes.
To complete the project you need:
A Robertson screwdriver, your own paint with supplies, and weatherproof finish.
